Llanelli's Triathlon club is also committed to the role of being involved in the organisation and the hosting of other prestige, high quality sporting events including the Llanelli Millennium Costal Park 10K (see picture above). The 2005 event saw over 1000 athletes participate and was chosen as the venue for hosting the Welsh Championships for the 10k distance.

Llanelli Triathlon also organise and host the British Youth and Junior Triathlon Championships (see picture left) held for the first time in Llanelli in 2005. Other events include the Llanelli Triathlon, Duathlon and a series of multi-sport events for children.

The aim of the organising Team is to promote a fit and active lifestyle; and what better way to than get out into the fresh air to exercise. If the thought of a running or triathlon event is stopping you stepping out the front door and taking part then why not consider participating in one of our Walkathon Events.

Supported by Power Walkers World, the Llanelli Triathlon and Llanelli Power Walking clubs are again involved in the organising and hosting of a prestige event that is specifically for walkers.
